  I chose the health education sector, the standard focused on prevention and decision-making for third-grade students. Benchmark HE.3.PHC.3.2 stood out to me because it highlights the importance of children making informed decisions about their own bodies regarding oral hygiene and diet. Using technology through online learning, this benchmark emphasizes how the foods children choose can either positively or negatively affect their nutritional health. I feel confident introducing this standard into my classroom as a personal trainer and I enjoy a healthy lifestyle.      As someone who is passionate about the quality of students' learning experiences, I hope to learn how technology can enhance that experience. Introduction to Educational Technology is an important class for anyone planning to be an educator. When I considered becoming a teacher, I was particularly interested in working with Kindergarten through third grade, where children are developing crucial social, cognitive, and emotional skills.
